Tasman Ezra

I am currently a doctoral candidate studying macroevolutionary ecology at Washington University in the laboratories of Drs. Jonathan Losos and Elizabeth Mallott. In addition to my research, I am the founder and executive director of HonduHerp, a biodiversity conservation nonprofit based in Honduras. I’m also an experiential science educator at the high school level and the vocalist for Half Inch Hero, an environmental post-hardcore band. I am generally passionate about understanding and protecting biodiversity through research, policy, education, and the arts.

I received my Master of Education in Science Teaching from Harvard University in 2024, and my Bachelor of Science in Earth and Planetary Science from Yale University in 2022.
